A Moving Experience
I’ve found a nice public housing! All right, okay…so its not finished. Only some bugs. I mean accurately! Primary expense? An exterminator! Is it worth the money? Well, I can not afford a extra expensive area, so a one-time (please!) money outlay must be satisfactory. Maybe only a can of “Raid?”
I need a way to move my stuff. Daddy, can I borrow your truck? You do not own one? Why not? Make you need one? I will help you pick it out! Well, it was only a idea. No need to find all bent out of appearance! I presume I’d better call the truck rental seats. What do you mean…$150…Moving Boxes and Supplies, PLUS mileage? AND Gas? Excellent grief!
While I’m on the phone I’ll call the service and phone companies. Of course, I know I haven’t utilized your services previously. No, I do not own a credit card; this is my firstly place. You need what? A $50 deposit? For every one? Holy cow…do you folks own a license to rob?
Daddy, I need $450 for sad expenses! I utilized all my money for the firstly and ultimate months rent AND the dent deposit. Well, how was I to know this was departing to be so expensive? Sell something? Daaaaad…I NEED my television!
Boy, this area is pretty unfilled. Maybe I must acquire a couch and a chair. Nah…I own my bed. That will be helpful sufficient. I do not need a desk; i will only utilize this box.
Renters Insurance? I do not think so! What do I need to insure?
Only got my firstly phone call! I’d like to go to your festivity! Daddy, I need a car. For the reason that its too far to go to succeed, that is why. Umm, Daddy…there’s vehicle insurance too! Thanks, Dad…you’re the greatest! And gas? I didn’t think so…
Moment for feast. Let’s look in these boxes. Oh, No! No dishes or pans. No FOOD!
Uhhh, Mom?

How To Become A Stand Up Comedian
January 7, 2010 by Hank Evans
If you have the extraordinary talent of making people laugh, you may want to consider a career as a professional stand up comedian. However, being successful at it requires more than just sheer talent ? you need to be smart and witty and most of all you must have the guts to go before throngs of people.
A small notebook and a pen are very essential to any aspiring stand up comedian. Always bring these with you whenever you go as you can’t tell the time when an idea will cross your mind. In case it does, make sure to jot it down so you won’t easily forget it.
Although you are supposed to write down all the funny things you come across with, it should not delimit you as a performer. As a professional, it is important to deliver lines naturally. Study your lines well, including the ad lib before you take on the stage. Nothing can be more embarrassing than to stay and stay not knowing what to say or do.
Another must do before taking the stage is to know the type of audience you will be performing for. This way you’ll be able to adjust your style and your antics accordingly. One thing that you must not do is acting like you are better than them; this only creates a negative impression.
Keep in mind that even before you start opening your mouth, your audience may already have formed an opinion about you, but don’t let it intimidate you. Approach the crowd with extreme confidence but without appearing showy. Take control of the situation and make your audience feel relaxed and comfortable.
It usually happens with professional comedians to have performances on the same location many times during the week. If you happen to experience this, too, just make sure that you have something different to show every time in order to keep your audience out of boredom. There are different styles that you can assume, so don’t be afraid to try one style to another. Practice making a joke out of anything as this helps you to develop your sense of humor.
It is important that you are the one in total control of the situation and not your audience; it can be insulting on your part otherwise. If you sense that your antic is no longer working as much as you expect, don’t wait for tomatoes to come flying right at you. Make the necessary adjustments right away.
Pursuing a career as a comedian is not a joke. Practicing and learning how to deliver a joke with the right timing are very significant to a good comedian. You have to be prepared because it is going to be a long way for you to go and the pay sometimes is not as rewarding as the effort. Stay funny and know what makes your audience laugh; then, you will be fulfilling your goals soon.
